Nick is the founder of Sunik Roofing and has been with the Company since its conception in 1986. He has 23 years experience as a shingle applicator and over 35 years in the roofing Industry. Nick lives roofing.

While Nick is involved in many of Sunik’s daily operations, he is head of the sales team and still does estimates occasionally. He is very involved in the roofing community. In the past, Nick served for three years as president for the Alberta Allied Roofing Association (AARA) and 2 years as a Director. He also sat on the shingle design team for Alberta Roofers Contracting Association (ARCA) creating a new course for steep slope roofers.

Nick just completed a 6-year term on the Provincial Apprentiship Committee for the roofing trade for the province of Alberta and sub committees work. Nick is also on the executive committee and executive board of directors for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southern Alberta for the third year and does subcommittee work.

Sue is in her 21st year with Sunik Roofing. She started with Sunik Roofing to help Nick as the company grew. Sue originally answered phones and did some clerical work. Over the years she has performed many duties for Sunik; some of her present duties are bookeeping, and payroll. She created the web site infrastructure, keeps the company computers tuned up and healthy, and she helps with answering the phones and booking appointments when necessary.

Sue is an incredible multi tasker, with invaluable experience in the roofing industry and office environment.

Lowell is starting his 19th year with Sunik Roofing. He started as a laborer and worked his way up to crew chief; he then ran our leak repair department for many years. Lowell became a partner in 1996. Lowell is presently on the sales team and is involved in many of the company operations. Lowell is a certified roofer having completed his journeyman’s ticket with the Province of Alberta in 2004. Lowell earned the top student award for highest marks in class.

Lowell is involved in committees for the AARA. He sits on its board of directors; he is the chair of the marketing committee, chairs the education and promotions committee, and also sits on the technical committee.

Lowell is currently serving on the Provincial Apprentiship Committee for the roofing trade for the province of Alberta.

Nicholas has been with Sunik Roofing for 12 years. While in high school, he started as a part-time laborer. He ran our leak repair crew for three years and has become a top-notch leak tracker. He ran our shingle crew for two years and has now worked his way into one of our top sales positions.

Nicholas is a Certified Journeyman Roofer by the Province of Alberta, having completed his ticket in 2004. He is a very knowledgable and dedicated employee. Nicholas can help you choose the right roof and strives to help educate the customer.

Nathan is in his 11th year at Sunik Roofing. He started as a laborer with us while in high school through a work program. Nate ran our roofing crew for two years; he ran leak repair crew for many years and is also a top-notch leak repair expert. Nate completed his final year of apprenticeship training in 2006 and earned his Journeyman's Certificate from the Province of Alberta.

Nate is now head of quality control, inspecting our work to make sure our high standards are met. He also handles any issues that may arise with professionalism and knowledge.

Robert has endeared himself to staff and management alike. Rob wears many hats at Sunik, he is our production manager and our safety director/officer. He orders the materials, arranges delivery, directs the crews, the bins, handles all the shortages and inventory. He also enforces strict safety practices on every job. He will be stepping into sales in the near future and be handling repair management.

Rob is an honest hard working, knowledgable and loyal member of team Sunik, whenever there is a task to be done, he will lead the charge.

Delice is one of our newest members and has been working as Assistant Project Manager. She has eagerly learned all the procedures of the Sunik office team and will be stepping up to Project Manager in the near future. Delice will be directing crews, ordering supplies, speaking with customers throughout their roofing jobs and overseeing procedures from start to finish.

Marcus has been awarded "Employee of the Month" 3 consecutive months in a row! He is a valuable member of our Sales Team and is a third year Journeyman Apprentice. He recently won "Top Apprentice Award" and earned a scholarship with NAIT. He has learned all the various facets of roofing well, leading him to become one of our top sales members. His attention to detail is impeccible and his desire to please his customers unwavering.

As Executive Assistant, Kathy handles scheduling and customer service. She is also in charge of invoicing, receivables and general office duties. She is involved in various other areas including project management and basic bookeeping. As well she is a seasoned web/graphic designer and maintains the website and handles the advertising media.

Having worked in the retail industry for over 20 years she has extensive experience with customer service.

Jeremi has been with Sunik for almost a year. He delivers and picks up the bins and is a vital part of the roofing job. His meticulous tracking skills and time management is also a definite asset to Sunik. He is always eager to help wherever needed. Jeremi helps keep Sunik running smoothly.

Bruce is in his first year of the Apprenticeship Program and is a valuable member of our repair team. He began with Sunik on our clean-up team and has since been training in leak tracking, maintenance and repairs. He is also an apprentice mechanic and helps maintain equipment and anywhere else he is needed.

Andrew is enthusiastic and very consciencious. He runs shortages, delivers materials, and is the most important part of the job, the final cleanup. His meticulous scour ensures that once your new roof is in place, it appears that we were never there.
