Nick is the founder of Sunik Roofing and has been with the Company since its conception in 1986. He has 22 years experience as a shingle applicator and over 34 years in the roofing Industry. Nick lives roofing.

While Nick is involved in many of Sunik’s daily operations, he is head of the sales team and still does estimates occasionally. He is very involved in the roofing community. In the past, Nick served for three years as president for the Alberta Allied Roofing Association (AARA) and 2 years as a Director. He also sat on the shingle design team for Alberta Roofers Contracting Association (ARCA) creating a new course for steep slope roofers.

Nick just competed a 6-year term on the Provincial Apprentiship Committee for the roofing trade for the province of Alberta and sub committees work. Nick is also on the executive committee and executive board of directors for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southern Alberta for the third year and does subcommittee work. back

Sue is in her 20th year with Sunik Roofing. She started with Sunik Roofing to help Nick as the company grew. Sue originally answered phones and did some clerical work. Over the years she has performed many duties for Sunik; some of her present duties are bookeeping, and payroll. She created the web site infrastructure, keeps the company computers tuned up and healthy, and she helps with answering the phones and booking appointments when necessary.

Sue is an incredible multi tasker, with invaluable experience in the roofing industry. Sue knows roofing. back

Lowell is starting his 18th year with Sunik Roofing. He started as a laborer and worked his way up to crew chief; he then ran our leak repair department for many years. Lowell became a partner in 1996. Lowell is presently on the sales team and is involved in many of the company operations. Lowell is a certified roofer having completed his journeyman’s ticket with the Province of Alberta in 2004. Lowell earned the top student award for highest marks in class.

Lowell is involved in committees for the AARA. He sits on its board of directors; he is the chair of the marketing committee, chairs the education and promotions committee, and also sits on the technical committee.

Lowell is currently serving on the Provincial Apprentiship Committee for the roofing trade for the province of Alberta. Lowell knows goals. back

Nicholas has been with Sunik Roofing for eleven years. While in high school, he started as a part-time laborer. He ran our leak repair crew for three years and has become a top-notch leak tracker. He ran our shingle crew for two years and has now worked his way into a sales position.

Nicholas is a Certified Journeyman Roofer by the Province of Alberta, having completed his ticket in 2004. He is a very knowledgable and dedicated employee. Nicholas can help you choose the right roof. Nicholas knows roofing. back

Nathan is in his 10th year at Sunik Roofing. He started as a laborer with us while in high school through a work program. Nate ran our roofing crew for two years; he ran leak repair crew for many years and is also a top-notch leak repair expert. Nate completed his final year of apprenticeship training in 2006 and earned his Journeyman's Certificate from the Province of Alberta.

Nate is now head of quality control, inspecting our work to make sure our high standards are met. He also handles any issues that may arise with professionalism and knowledge. Nate knows roofing. back

Robert has endeared himself to staff and management alike. Rob wears many hats at Sunik, he is our production manager and our safety director/officer. He orders the materials, arranges delivery, directs the crews, the bins, handles all the shortages and inventory. He also enforces strict safety practices on every job.

Rob is an honest hard working and loyal member of team Sunik, whenever there is a task to be done, he will lead the charge.

Sean is one of our senior members of the Sunik Sales Team and a third year roofing apprentice in the roofing trade with NAIT. Sean's attention to detail will ensure you get the roof you are looking for. As with all our sales team Sean is easy going and will not sell using high pressure tactics. He takes pride in educating his customers and eagerly answers any questions so the customer can go forward with confidence.

Marcus has been awarded "Employee of the Month" 3 consecutive months in a row! He is the newest member of our Sales Team and is a third year Journeyman Apprentice. He began with Sunik as our clean-up tech and has learned all the various facets of roofing, leading him to become a qualified sales member.

As Administrative Assistant, Kathy handles phones and customer service. She is also in charge of scheduling, invoicing and general office duties and is involved in various other areas including project management and basic bookeeping. Kathy is also a seasoned web designer and maintains the website.

Having worked in the retail industry for over 20 years she has extensive experience with customer service.

Jack has been with Sunik for 5 years. He delivers and picks up the bins and is a vital part of the roofing job. His extensive knowledge in the technical field is also a definite asset to Sunik. Jack is always eager to help wherever needed, from answering phones to web developement to project management. Jack helps keep Sunik running smoothly.
